This job consists of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
  • Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed
  • Compose and oversee forecasting reports
  • Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
  • Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
  • Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources
  • An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
  • Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

Job Requirements:
  • Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
  • Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferential)
  • Wide ranging experience with GAAP Accounting
  • Earlier work involving operations
  • Proven knowledge of Process Improvement
  • Well-founded grasp of Customer Contracts
  • Trend Analysis experience required
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Solid understanding of performance analysis
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS Accounting
  • Month end closings experience highly desired
  • Quality experience with international financial reporting standards
  • General familiarity with Operational Budgets
  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
  • Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
  • Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
