Our client, a reputable franchise-approved repair centre in Ton Pentre, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The Vehicle Technician is pivotal to delivering exceptional service and repairs, and our client is looking for someone with a strong background in vehicle maintenance. Benefits:

Salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Monthly bonus scheme averaging around £400 (£4,800 per year)
Overtime available at time and a half, paid additionally
Full manufacturer-accredited training to support continuous development
Enhanced holiday entitlement: starting at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing after 1, 3, and 5 years of service

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmDuties as a Vehicle Technician:

Perform fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs as per manufacturer and client standards
Identify vehicle faults accurately and report findings to the Service Manager
Ensure all repairs meet high-quality standards and safety guidelines
Follow all quality procedures and manufacturer protocols diligently
Maintain detailed records of all work completed on each vehicle
Conduct vehicle safety checks, assessments, and test drives when necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure workshop efficiency and excellent customer serviceRequirements:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
At least one to two years' post-qualification experience preferred
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Committed to producing high-quality work with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
