Bench Fitter

Location: Gateshead

Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:45am-4:30pm | Fri 8:00am-2:00pm

We're hiring an experienced Bench Fitter to join a busy automation and engineering team in Gateshead.

This is hands-on mechanical assembly — building AGVs, robotic systems and bespoke machinery from detailed engineering drawings. If you're confident on the tools and take pride in neat, accurate builds, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Mechanical bench fitting & assembly

· Building sub-assemblies and full units

· Working from engineering drawings

· Maintaining high quality standards

What You'll Need:

· Proven mechanical fitting / bench assembly experience

· Ability to read engineering drawings

· Good attention to detail

· Reliable, team-focused attitude
