Salary: £18,000 to £23,000 per annum- Depending on Experience

About the Role:
We are currently seeking compassionate and committed SEN Learning Support Assistants to join inclusive and supportive schools in Slough. These roles are available for an immediate start and offer a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support that helps each child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and speech and language needs.
• Help implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
• Assist with classroom tasks, behaviour management, and personal care where required
• Encourage pupils' independence and engagement in learning activities
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and parents

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
• A proactive and flexible approach to day-to-day responsibilities
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
