Hard FM Compliance Manager. In this role, you will help ensure the integrity of compliance data, embed robust processes, and support operational teams to meet statutory and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about compliance, confident in engaging stakeholders, and skilled at developing systems that support safe, consistent, and high-quality service delivery. You will play a key part in shaping how we deliver safe and compliant Hard FM services across the business.
About the RoleAs a Hard FM Compliance Manager, you will support the FM Region and POCM teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of compliance data across operations. You'll develop systems and processes that enable effective compliance methodology, audit against these standards, and ensure stakeholders understand and follow required procedures. A key focus of the role is supporting operational colleagues to understand performance expectations, resolve constraints, and maintain a management regime that ensures NHSPS meets statutory compliance. You will also ensure that all compliance documentation is obtained, securely stored, and readily available when required. This role sits at the heart of operational delivery. You will work closely with managers, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, support performance engagement, and escalate risks where necessary. Your work will directly contribute to safer environments, better service outcomes, and improved customer experience.
Who You AreYou are an experienced Hard FM or compliance professional with a strong understanding of statutory requirements, governance frameworks, and performance management. You're confident analysing data, developing processes, and supporting teams to embed consistent ways of working. You are collaborative, organised, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels from frontline colleagues to senior leaders. You bring a coaching mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to influence positive change. You thrive in environments where accuracy, structure, and clarity are essential, and you take pride in helping teams deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality services. You are someone who leads by example, role models organisational values, and contributes to a culture where colleagues feel supported and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain systems and processes that support effective Hard FM compliance
- Audit compliance performance and ensure the integrity of operational compliance data
- Support operational colleagues to understand process and performance requirements
- Ensure all compliance documentation is obtained, securely stored, and accessible
- Identify constraints, risks, and opportunities for improvement, escalating where required
- Provide clear performance insights through compliance MI and engagement
- Communicate key messages to team members about work plans, priorities, and organisational updates
- Contribute to the development of local strategies and operational plans
- Role model NHSPS values and help set the cultural tone within the team
- Collaborate with managers across the business to deliver positive outcomes for colleagues and customers
- Take ownership of people-related activity within your team (where applicable)
- Develop high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, and talent development
- Embrace and embed organisational change, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Tackle inefficiencies and drive improvements in compliance and operational performance
- Participate in working groups or forums to support wider business improvement
Where you'll beThis is a hybrid position supporting the London region. Your local hub will be 10SC, London, and the role will be offered on an 18-month contract.
