Electrical Site Manager / Supervisor – HMP Highpoint

We are currently recruiting for an electrically biased Site Manager / Supervisor to support a major project at HMP Highpoint, delivering new houseblocks and associated buildings within a secure environment.

The Overview

This is a site-based position with a strong electrical focus, responsible for managing the delivery of MEP works with particular emphasis on electrical packages. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate daily site activity, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Location: HMP Highpoint, Newmarket (CB8)

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Start: ASAP (subject to clearance)

Rate: Up to £430 per day (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

• Management of electrical supply chain delivery

• Day-to-day coordination of site activities

• Oversight of electrical and MEP subcontractors

• Health and safety management including RAMS and inductions

• Attendance at planning and coordination meetings

• Reporting progress to the Project Manager

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality and safety requirements

Requirements

• Strong electrical background within M&E or Building Services

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor

• Experience managing subcontractors on large-scale projects

• Good understanding of health and safety processes

• Experience within a secure or regulated environment is beneficial
