Would you be interested in working as a Behaviour HLTA based in a primary school?

If you answered yes to the above, then this Behaviour HLTA role is for you!

For this Behaviour HLTA role you will be required to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs as well as some challenging behaviour. It will be your responsibility to support the class year 5 teacher by managing the children's behaviour and to also encourage them to get involved during lesson. The ideal Behaviour HLTA for this role must have previous experience in a similar setting.

Found in Wakefield (WF6) this Grade 2 Good primary school caters to 128 children. The successful candidate will be specifically working in class 6 supporting the Teacher Monday to Friday on a long-term basis.

Pay rate - up to £90 per day (depending on experience)

This full-time role will be due to start from January 2021

What is required for this role?

  • Qualified Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
  • You will ideally have a Degree from a reputable University
  • Must be caring, supportive and dependable
  • Be able to support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Valid DBS is desirable
  • Have at least two education-based references from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.
