An established education agency is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Secondary Tutors to support Looked After Children (LAC) across the Salford area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require additional academic support and consistency outside of mainstream classroom settings.

The Role:

Deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students (KS3-KS4)

Support core subjects (English, Maths, Science - additional subjects welcomed)

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions

Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable learners

Provide progress updates and feedback to the agency and relevant professionals

We Are Looking For:

Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or strong subject specialists

Experience working with secondary-aged students

Previous experience with SEND, SEMH, or Looked After Children is highly desirable

Patient, empathetic and resilient individuals

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
