Learning Support Assistant-behaviour management
Hourly Rate: £15.55- £17.10(umbrella)

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support within the carpentry cohort at our Bromley site. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of behaviour management and is skilled in de-escalation tactics.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to students within the carpentry cohort, focusing on their individual learning needs.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Use de-escalation techniques to manage and prevent any potential disruptions in the classroom.
Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance educational support for students.
Monitor and report on the progress of students, providing feedback to relevant educational staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a support role within an educational setting, preferably with exposure to vocational training areas such as carpentry.
Strong knowledge of behaviour management and de-escalation tactics.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
