Job Title: Logistics Manager

Location: Hybrid Working (3 days office, 2 days working from home)

Our clients team is committed to excellence and are now looking for a talented Logistics Manager to join in their mission to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction. The role does require visits to our clients West Yorkshire Warehouse at least once a week.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire logistics process, including inventory management, warehousing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Visiting our clients Key Warehouse in West Yorkshire at least once a week.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Experience in handling perishables (advantageous).
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor / Logistics Manager
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management and shipping processes
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Car owner, so as to visit West Yorkshire Warehouse (at least once a week).
•  import/export customs knowledge including ADR/Regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in logistics software (ERP/CRM) and shipping documentation
• Good leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 3PL experience
