My client is a multi-service design, planning and development consultancy that are looking for a Senior Planner to join their rapidly growing team in Leicester.

They handle planning matters of all types and scales, serving major house builders, developers, manufacturers, investment companies and more across the UK.

Whether it be the preparation and submission of a planning application, promoting development sites through the local plan process, or representation at planning appeals, they are passionate about helping their clients achieve their strategic and commercial goals.

Candidates are required to have:

Membership of RTPI (or working towards)
A relevant Planning qualification (or working towards one)
Previous experience in a Planning role (from within local government, consultancy or development industry)
An understanding of the planning process and systems

What does the role involve?

As a Senior Planner, this exciting full-time role will involve:

Managing planning applications, appeals and consultations.
Collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to assist with development management projects.
Monitoring legislative changes, emerging trends, and best practices in urban planning to inform decision-making and strategy development
Leading the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies to support sustainable growth and development across the UK
