Junior Quality Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

The Role

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you'll support the quality function across multiple projects, ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards. Working closely with experienced engineers, you'll contribute to inspections, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with quality assurance processes and the development of inspection standards.

Carry out inspections, collect quality data, and report findings.

Support the investigation of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions.

*

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality systems.

*

Contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For

*

Some experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment (placement, apprenticeship, or entry-level role).

A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or similar.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

*

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a high-performance engineering environment.
