Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £47,500 + Excellent Benefits
Shifts: Monday - Friday (Days)

Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime

Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on automated production equipment

Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with health and safety standards

Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance

Requirements:

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability, particularly within electrical systems

Electrical engineering bias with experience working in manufacturing or FMCG environments

Experience maintaining automated or production machinery

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Relevant engineering qualification (Electrical / Multi-skilled engineering preferred)
