SEND Teaching Assistant- Sept 2025

Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded SEND school in Manchester to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025. This position involves working with children who have Autism and Complex Needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of the child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil's educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism and Complex Needs
* Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
* Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
* Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Requirements:

* Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs
* Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to supporting the child's academic and emotional development
