SUMMARY Our client is a premier IT Solutions provider is seeking a Principal Engineer for a direct hire role. This position will be the lead on delivering customer cloud projects that are cross practice and span multiple technology architectures mainly associated with data center builds and migrations. The position requires someone who is hands on and will perform the bulk of work related to technical delivery with the help of delivery engineers dedicated to the project. The ideal candidate for this position comes from the Value-Added Reseller industry, has experience being the overall delivery engineer, and has expertise in solution delivery for multiple sets of diverse clients. DESCRIPTION Aid, design, deploy, and manage Office 365 users Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration Aid, design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Environments Support and manage Microsoft Azure AD Hybrid Support and manage Active Directory 2012 and newer Support and manage key services including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, File Services Aid, design, manage, and deploy Azure Solutions and Services Demonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi) Understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, data center switching) Understanding of enterprise storage systems Working knowledge or Windows PowerShell scripting experience Knowledge of Monitoring and Management Platforms a plus Perform other duties as required andor assigned Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation KnowledgeSkillsAbilities Must be available onsite during normal business hours Must be available to be on-call for remote support escalations Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management Relentless focus in delighting customers, treating colleagues regardless of position with utmost respect Provide updates to all teams and track activity in company CRM solution Interact confidently with C-level executives at Client Site Manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously Detail Oriented, apply consistency throughout the work product Self-Starter in addition to having the ability to work in the guidelines of given directions Work with outside vendors to troubleshoot issues and tackle problems Efficient, effective at producing required results in a short amount of time Strong communication, both written and orally (consistent, efficient, and effective) Follow directions yet applies judgment and can be flexible Team member yet knows when to work independently Pro-active, able to note things that need to be done without being prompted and proactively address them REQUIRMENTS 5+ Microsoft Cloud (Azure ADHybrid, Microsoft Exchange OnlineHybrid, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) 10+ years of in-depth experience maintaining and supporting technology solutions that utilize technical skills described above 10+ years of in-depth experience supporting and troubleshooting a multi-server windows Domain network environment Experience working directly with technical engineers and practice managers as well as nontechnical end users
