The Opportunity: Chartered Building Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join a dynamic team based in Birmingham. This is a full-time hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from home part of the week.

In this role, you’ll work across a variety of commercial projects, providing high-level advice and tailored solutions to a broad client base. From building condition surveys and feasibility studies to project management and dilapidations, this is a varied and rewarding position with real scope for impact and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting condition surveys, feasibility studies, and inspections
• Advising on building defects, maintenance, refurbishments, and repairs
• Managing dilapidations and acting as contract administrator
• Preparing comprehensive reports, specifications, and schedules of work
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

• MRICS qualified
• Strong commercial background with experience in professional surveying services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and deliver high-quality results
• Collaborative approach with a commitment to client service
