What You'll Be Responsible For

* Developing and configuring PLC programs in alignment with project standards and requirements

* Defining interface specifications for integration with third-party systems

* Preparing comprehensive Functional Design Specifications (FDS)

* Simulating and testing control software in 3D environments, focusing on conveyor and shuttle systems

* Leading PLC commissioning activities at customer locations

* Identifying and resolving issues related to software, hardware, and electrical systems

* Integrating and commissioning interfaces with WCS/WMS systems

* Performing rigorous safety system checks and validating third-party system integrations

* Collaborating with Engineers and Project Managers to verify PLC functionality and system performance

* Mentoring and supporting Junior Engineers and Apprentices throughout project phases.

What You'll Bring

* Solid experience in PLC programming and configuration, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal / S7

* Demonstrated success in commissioning and testing automated systems

* Strong knowledge of control systems, industrial networking, and field devices (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, ASi, Motors, Servo Drives)

* Exceptional troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

* A team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in coaching and developing others
