Deputy Manager

Join our supportive living community set in a picturesque natural environment, complete with a bakery and craft workshops for residents' use. We are seeking an experienced and confident leader to take on the role of Deputy Manager. This role involves working closely with the CEO and Registered Manager to ensure the day-to-day provision of high-quality care and support, meeting all contractual and regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the daily operations of our supported living services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support adults with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on person-centred care and support planning.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager as needed, ensuring continuity of service.
- Line manage and supervise care and support staff, promoting excellence and managing professional conduct.
- Facilitate staff development and training to enhance service quality.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience at a senior level within a supported living environment, specifically working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessment, and care planning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and develop staff.
- Ability to work flexibly, with options to work from home.
