We are seeking an experienced Freight Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in air and sea freight billing, who can manage shipment invoicing accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and raise invoices for air and sea freight shipments
• Verify shipment details, rates, and charges prior to billing
• Liaise with operations, carriers, and customers to resolve billing discrepancies
• Ensure all billing is completed in line with agreed rates and company procedures
• Maintain accurate financial and shipment records
• Support month-end closing processes and reporting
• Handle customer queries relating to invoices in a professional and timely manner

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in air and sea freight billing (essential)
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience using freight forwarding or logistics systems
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations
• Experience working within a freight forwarder or logistics provider
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
