Database Developer - TSSCI Required Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Database Developer for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community. Various levels are outlined below. Functional Role Database Developer bull Duties Identifies business requirements, develops data models, performs data analysis, writes SQL queries, designs and codes stored procedures and performance tunes existing database processes. Designs and develops database objects, stored procedures, views, functions, tables, triggers and SSIS packages ensures their stability, reliability, and performance. Writes and optimizes SQL statements for data access and retention. Performs regular database management duties including backups and audits to ensure that SQL databases remain accessible, secure, and stable. Tests databases for performance, fine-tune when necessary. Develops business rules that will be implemented in the services layer. bull Degree Bachelors bull Experience 2-8 years experience in large migrations, migrating Data Warehouse from multiple locations in existing form, PostgreSQL experience, AWS, Data Modeling, creating proper Data Models and ETL. bull Desired Understanding of AWS environment, AWS Solution Architect-Associate, AWS Database Specialty Certification.
