HR Coordinator
Location: Swindon (Office Based)
Salary: £28-£30K DOE
Reporting to: Head of HR Consultancy
Holiday: 25 Days + BH

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic HR Consultancy Team, based in Swindon. Reporting to the Head of HR Consultancy, you'll play a vital role in managing client employee lifecycle activities, fully taking ownership of the function while working in collaboration with our Advisers and Consultants in the execution of high-quality delivery of service.

What You'll Be Doing:
You will oversee and support the following activities in support of our clients:
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Managing the onboarding processes for our clients, including drafting offer letters, contract population, new starter paperwork and referencing, ensuring each step is effectively monitored
- Set up and maintain client HRIS systems, including adding new starters, updating changes, setting leavers and uploading documentation
- Complete DBS and DVLA checks, as well as ensuring appropriate security screening is in place as necessary
- Manage employee probationary periods, issuing documentation to managers, and drafting outcome letters, escalating to Advisors / Consultants as necessary
- Managing and drafting contract amendment documentation, ensuring changes are appropriately updated on relevant systems and liaising with payroll as needed
- Completing monthly payroll liaison activities along with dealing with any queries from clients and payroll providers
- Conducting exit interviews, and issuing leaver documentation, liaising with all relevant parties
- Tracking issued documentation, and highlighting issues to Advisors / Consultants, following up as directed
- Maintaining and updating appropriate process flow charts, identifying improvements in existing processes
- Maintaining documented procedures for each client to cover all lifecycle activities
Learning and Development
- Managing the HR Dept learning platform, including setting up, allocation and monitoring of training, reporting as required to clients
- Supporting external training logistics and material preparation
Employee Relations Support
- Supporting HR Advisors and Consultants with note taking at informal or formal meetings
Other
- Reviewing, creating and updating HR policies and client handbooks
- Maintaining and auditing client files, ensuring compliance
- Supporting Advisors and Consultants on client HR projects, such as benchmarking, and employee engagement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- HR administration experience in a fast-paced setting
- A foundation in employment law and HR best practices
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication - both written and verbal
- Confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & CRM systems and HRIS
- Bonus points for commercial awareness of SME needs
