Venari Finance are delighted to be partnered with our leading corporate client in the city centre of Glasgow to recruit a Financial Analyst on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Our client is going through a high profile period of growth due to a number of new contract wins.

This would suit an individual who is keen to work in a fast paced environment, dealing with multiple stakeholders.

It is likely you will be degree educated with a focus on progressing in your finance career.

Role overview:

• Manage debt within KPIs including bad debt provisions and instruct legal action to recover with AR
• Contribute to calls with AR and Managers to understand current debt position and resolve issues
• Assist with quarterly P&L Forecasts
• Assist with Annual Budgets
• Assist with 5-year forecasts
• Set up P&L Models for accrued income, deferred income, and P&L variance analysis
• Complete period end accrued and deferred income accruals for posting
• Period reporting of financials
• Manage collection and invoicing of turnover rent, including yearly reconciliation

Person Specification:

• Degree educated; previous experience working in Finance
• Excellent organiser, good numeracy, and literacy skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
• Team Player
• Excellent Communicator
• Excellent organisation skills and good attention to detail
• Work under pressure and manage time effectively
