Human Resources Coordinator
Location: CookstownSalary: Up to £30,000 (higher considered for exceptional candidates)Hours: Mon–Thu 9:00–5:30, Fri 9:00–5:00Hybrid: 1 day WFH once fully integrated
About the Role
A great opportunity for a proactive HR professional to join a busy HR team within a fast-paced, multi-site organisation. You’ll provide wide-ranging support across HR administration, onboarding, employee relations, projects and engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across all HR activities.
- Maintain accurate, confidential HR system records in line with GDPR.
- Manage onboarding processes including right-to-work checks, inductions and issuing starter documentation.
- Support offboarding activities such as organising exit interviews.
- Assist with company-wide HR initiatives including wellbeing, engagement, EDI and staff communications.
- Support the coordination of internal and external training programmes.
- Assist with HR projects and creation of HR materials (presentations, booklets, posters).
- Support employee relations processes including investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings.
- Provide general support to the HR Manager and wider HR function as required.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in HR, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year’s HR experience.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Flexibility to travel across the UK & Ireland when required.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria
- CIPD qualification (or working towards).
- Experience in the construction sector or a similar fast-paced environment.
