Scientific Project Coordinator (Account Manager)

Location: South-West London (commutable from London, Greater London, Woking, Crawley, Reading, Slough)

Salary: up to £32,000 DOE

Immediate Project Coordinator/ Account Manager vacancy with an award-winning consultancy that designs bespoke skincare and haircare formulations for the beauty and personal care markets. They are extremely active within the beauty industry and have a reputation for combining science with creativity to create novel formulations that are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and market trends.

The Project Coordinator will join an outstanding team and help to continue providing extremely high-quality services and products to their clients.

Job Responsibilities:

* Acting as project coordinator for all development projects, liaising with relevant parties throughout the process to deliver a successful result.

* Collaborating closely with all team members to help plan project work, set priorities and manage resourcing.

* Supporting all clients throughout their development journey.

* Serving as the point of contact for our clients for any matters relating to projects.

* Building and maintaining long-lasting, collaborative relationships with our clients, suppliers and partners through regular communication.

* Working together with our Commercial Manager on quotes and invoices for project work.

* Supporting our Commercial Manager with responding to enquiries relating to both existing business and new opportunities.

* Being a great ambassador, proactively promoting our team and services, and helping to follow up on new leads and opportunities.

Job Requirements:

* Educated to degree level.

* Ideally some project management and/or cosmetic industry experience

* Strong team player who takes on responsibility, supports their colleagues and appreciates collaborating with them.

* Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills (is able to coordinate multiple stakeholders to successfully complete projects).

* Enjoys organising and keeping track of lots of moving parts (e.g. somebody who always plans out their holidays in advance using Excel or other online organisational tools would probably suit this role).

* Has the confidence to manage projects, prioritise and delegate tasks to team members.

* Feels comfortable navigating and updating large spreadsheets of numerical data with a high degree of accuracy
