They will pay for you to obtain the CIAG accredited careers advisor qualification to level 4 (and later level 6). You get to work from home one day a week for paperwork.  And the rest of the time you are out and about hot desking in mostly local job centres, community centres and the odd library.  The aim of your role is to deliver a one-to-one advice and guidance sessions to help someone move towards education or employment.
