Location: Mainstream Primary School, Rochester
Role: Full-Time, Long-Term (Year 2 Support)

Are you a compassionate, motivated and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference? We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil in our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rochester.

About the Role

Full-time position starting January 2026
Long-term post with potential for extension
Working closely with a Year 2 pupil with additional learning needs
Providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and thrive socially and academically
Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO and external professionals
Creating a nurturing, positive and structured learning environment

About You

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., ASD, SEMH, speech & language, cognition and learning)
Patient, empathetic and adaptable
Confident using strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement
Able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
