The Senior AWS engineer will have a crucial responsibility in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and applications in our AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of AWS services and architecture. This will enable them to create cloud-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient.

About you:

• Extensive AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch etc
• Proven ability to architect and implement AWS solutions based on customer requirements and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC), using tools like GitLab, AWS CodeDeploy, and Terraform.
• Ability to optimize applications and services for performance and cost efficiency in AWS.
• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other specialized certifications are highly valued.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

Responsibilities:

• Designing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Select the appropriate AWS services to meet the client's requirements and business goals.
• Deploying, managing, and operating scalable and highly available systems on AWS.
• Ensuring the security of AWS infrastructure by implementing and managing security policies and IAM roles.
• Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans
• Providing AWS mentoring to other team members and contributing to the development of cloud policies and governance.
• Staying updated with the latest AWS features and services, cloud computing technologies, and recognized best practices.
