QHSE Manager

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £45,000 to £52,000

An opportunity has opened for a QHSE Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Maidstone. The ideal candidate will have a background as either a Senior or Lead QHSE Engineer looking to make the step into a managerial role or an experienced Quality, Health & Safety or Environmental Manager.

The role is very much a “hands on” role where you will be a central figure in the manufacturing factory assisting with everything Quality, H&S and Environmental related.

QHSE Manager Key Skills:

* Experience as a Senior / Lead QHSE / Quality Engineer or in a managerial position

* Experience of man management and leading teams

* Excellent experience of quality engineering

* ISO 9001, 14001 experience (auditing would be ideal)

* Background of conducting risk assessments

* Expert quality control understanding

* NEBOSH or IOSH certificates would be ideal

QHSE Manager Responsibilities:

* Maintain and develop existing quality systems and processes

* Drive continuous improvement in the departments

* Ensure products meeting the company quality, environmental and H&S standards

* Oversee any internal and external ISO audits

* Conducting risk assessments and updating the systems

* Implementing any new processes to improve anything QHSE related
