Linux Systems Administrator London to £120k

Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps (Python Ruby Cloud AWS GCP SAN Storage IaaS). Are you a Linux technologist seeking a role where you can work with the latest technologies and take ownership in a modern IaaS environment?

You could be joining a global Investment Management company. As a Linux Systems Administrator you'll be responsible for the delivery of end-to-end infrastructure solutions; automating wherever possible, working with a range of technologies and taking a lead on projects.

You will deliver systems and storage solutions based on Linux (RHEL, CentOS and OEL) encompassing systems engineering and performance, configuration management and day to day operations. You'll seek to automate wherever possible to improve efficiency and support Infrastructure as a Service, promote DevOps best practices such as CI/ CD, automated testing, branching strategy and environment decoupling) and manage and maintain a multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP).

As a Linux Systems Administrator you'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit and 360 views of the City; the company is able to offer a remote interview process / onboarding process and work from during the current social distancing measures (full time office based thereafter).

Requirements:

• Indepth knowledge of Linux OS in an enterprise scale environment
• Python or Ruby coding ability
• Experience with Storage Management and Support e.g. NetApp, DDN, EMC and Vast
• Experience with at least one Cloud based platform (AWS or GCP preferred)
• Good working knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Terraform or Puppet
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Collaborative with excellent written and verbal communication skills
