Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop Team Leader in Esher

• Location :Esher | Surrey | KT10 8AS
• Pay rate: £46k / £20.81ph
• Working hours: working Mon-Fri 45 hour week

Main Purpose

To provide supervision of a maintenance workshop serving a diverse range of vehicles, equipment and plant; and plan the effective use of resources to deliver a cost-effective Service and Maintenance Repair facility always ensuring first class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with legislative and company standards of all equipment and tools
• Health & Safety of Workshop
• Monitoring Fitter performance, quality and productivity
• Maintain cost controls on behalf of Amey
• Actively identify and develop effective ways of delivering service
• Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Full driving licence: Minimum C+E
• City & Guilds Motor Vehicle level 1,2 & 3

Skills

• Planning and motivational skills
• Computer Literate
• Ability to communicate with team and management Experience
• Experience of maintenance workshops ideally in a supervisory role
• Able to demonstrate workshop planning knowledge
• Experience in performance managing teams
• Significant "On Tools" experience
• High level of problem solving skills
