Who you'll be working for:

An established global construction and refurbishment company embedded within the retail sector.

The people you'll be working with:

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will join an established but growing commercial team.

What you'll be asked to achieve:

You will have commercial responsibility of projects from feasibility to final accounts. Working as a Quantity Surveyor you will be a key member of the team that will manage tenders and costs for new developments across Yorkshire.

In order to fulfil this you will be required to:

* Attend scoping and survey consultations.

* Liaise with Client Project Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager.

* Deal with Subcontractor enquiries.

* Cost analysis for Subcontractors.

* Place Subcontractor orders.

* Support the delivery teams.

* Prepare budget costings and bills of quantities.

* Provide commercial reporting.

* Carry out valuations.

* Prepare and submit final accounts.

* Arrange payments to Subcontractors.

* Cash flow projections.

This role would suit someone with:

* Experience with projects within the fit-out sector.

* Solid technical knowledge of construction techniques.

* Ability to manage several projects at one time.

* Good numerical skills

* Good IT and software operation skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

* An estimating/Quantity surveying background

* Tendering experience
