AV Installation Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are currently working with one of our favourite and long standing clients who are in the market for an AV Installation Engineer to cover London and Home Counties. This is a great company who have a brilliant reputation within the Audio Visual sector and are looking to expand due to company growth.

Our client has forged a reputation within the AV industry for installations of the highest quality and class. Their Engineers are essential in ensuring that this quality is maintained and upheld throughout their work.

Responsibilities

Typically, the daily duties of the Installation Engineer will include:

Oversee a constantly evolving portfolio of projects, ensuring that the company's meticulous standards are constantly delivered.
Work alongside Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of installation projects.
Attend site surveys, liaise with clients and site managers as required by Project Manager.
Oversee Health and Safety implementation on sites you are responsible for.
Hand over jobs to engineering teams when required by Project Manager.
Be a first point of contact for engineers who require assistance on any of your sites.
Oversee the development of Junior Engineers.
Possess an in-depth knowledge of installation techniques and the equipment that we ae integrating.
Carry out timely completion of projects you are tasked with.
Ensure DI standards are maintained throughout.

Essential Requirements

Extensive experience of AV installation.
Experience of terminating Cat5 & 6, XLR, 232 cntrl, Speakon, BNC, EDAC.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong experience of working on both building sites and corporate environments.
Knowledge and experience of implementing Health and Safety policies on site.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to think laterally and problem solve on your feet.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Full Driving Licence.
ECS/CSCS Card

Be a strong leader with the ability to drive your team while also motivating and developing their skills.
Be able to demonstrate, develop and maintain an understanding of products & technologies
Have a keen awareness of Health and Safety to ensure that company policies are always adhered to.
Have excellent communication skills to be able interact with site managers and corporate clients.
Provide continual feedback to the Project Manager in relation to onsite activity & procedures.

Package

The following will be included within the overall package:

Salary £27,000 -£45,000
