We are currently seeking 4 NGED OPS2B qualified FWT Wiremen to support ongoing substation works across the Midlands region. This is a site-based role, with deployment to various substations as required by the project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform wiring and associated tasks in accordance with NGED OPS2B standards
* Work on Functional Wiring Termination (FWT) within substation environments
* Interpret technical drawings and wiring schedules
* Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols on all sites
* Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and fellow wiremen to ensure timely and quality completion of works
Requirements:
* Valid NGED OPS2B qualification
* Proven experience in substation wiring, particularly FWT work
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
* Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures
* Full UK driving licence preferred (due to multi-site work)
