Plant Supervisor
Location: Mold
Hours: 45 hours per week
Salary: £30,000pa
Overtime: Available subject to business requirements
Training: Full training provided (front‑end loader experience required)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Plant Supervisor to join our team. This role is key to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of concrete and mortar on a site currently operating as a single-person operation. You will take responsibility for site presentation and maintenance, the batching process, and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
This is an opportunity for someone with strong operational awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Customer Service
Liaise with the Order Office, plant staff, and customers to ensure all concrete/mortar production meets required standards.
Produce concrete/mortar to optimum output, quality, and compliance with company procedures and technical instructions.
Ensure excellent customer service and uphold the highest standards of site presentation.
Plant Operations & Maintenance
Operate the batching plant and front-end loader (FEL) in line with company policies.
Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of plant mechanisms, buildings, equipment, and facilities.
Monitor material stocks daily and carry out weekly visual stock checks.
Ensure all materials used meet approval standards and are sufficiently available for production demands.
Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors follow safety instructions.
Comply fully with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all company safety policies.
Manage waste disposal, water discharge, and dust emissions in line with Environmental Procedures.
Report any defects, safety concerns, environmental issues, or quality risks immediately.
Essential Skills & Experience
Computer literate
Experience operating a front-end loader (FEL)
Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards
Ability to work independently and proactively
Good communication and organisational skills
