Job Title: CAD Technician
Location: Leicester 
Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

We are working in partnership with a leading specialist in high-end interior fit-out and joinery who is looking to add a CAD Technician to their established design team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong CAD skills and a background in manufacturing or joinery to join a respected company with a reputation for delivering projects of exceptional quality.

The Role

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate manufacturing models and technical drawings from architectural and design intent information. You'll be working to company standards, ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements, and liaising closely with colleagues across design, production, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities:

Producing detailed drawings and models for approval, construction, and manufacture
Ensuring drawings are accurate, compliant, and completed within allocated budgets and timescales
Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve design or technical queries
Supporting with surveys, specifications, and cutting lists where required
Maintaining accurate project records and adhering to all company standards and proceduresAbout You

The ideal candidate will have:

Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD packages
An understanding of joinery design and manufacturing processes (desirable, but not essential)
A keen eye for detail with the ability to work accurately to deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues and subcontractorsWhat's on Offer
