History Teacher – Full Time – North Cambridge

Start: After Easter | Temp via REED Permanent from SeptemberPay: £150–£250 per day (experience dependent)

REED Education are proud to be supporting an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in North Cambridge, assisting them in the recruitment of a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their Humanities department after the Easter break.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach engaging and high-quality History lessons within a well-resourced, supportive, and high-performing faculty. The role begins on a long-term basis through REED, with a pathway to a permanent contract from September.

About the Role

• Teaching History across KS3–KS4
• Full-time long-term role
• Strong potential to become permanent in September
• Supportive and collaborative Humanities team
• Start date: After Easter 2026

• An enthusiastic History specialist
• QTS is desirable but not essential
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire curiosity about the past
• Confident behaviour management
