JOB DESCRIPTION

I am currently assisting a South London based Main Contractor with their search for an Estimator. The contractor work on a vast range of fitout and refurbishment projects across commercial buildings ranging between £5mk and £50m. Their work includes cut and carve, complex refurbishment and cat a and cat b works.

£60k-£80k

You'll:

- Prepare all financial elements and components of the tendering process from identification and authorisation to proceed to financial handover and beyond

- Assist the bidding team with any post tender negotiations as required

- Maintain accurate benchmarking data from completed tenders and secured projects

- Liaise with Procurement with regards to subcontractor selection and potential further opportunities on price betterment.

- Actively partake in and be a champion of electronic tendering practices and integration of BIM.

- Price various projects between the project range above

We're looking for:

6 years plus experience
Experience pricing tenders using computerised estimating system(s)
Demonstrable experience of liaising/working with Sub-contractors and Suppliers to produce robust estimates
Demonstrable experience of issuing/receiving tender queries.
