Location: White City Living

Working Hours: The role requires a five-day working week, which must include Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and at least one weekend day - 0800 - 16:30  

Salary: £28,981 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Development Details:

This role will be based at a development located in in the heart of West London. This is a new development which is part of a 10-year project, It has 981 homes now, and it will be 1,155 homes in total at the end of this year (2024). There will be approximately 2,300 homes by 2030. This site benefits from several amenities for residents such as a Health Club with swimming pool, 2 cinemas, and a virtual golf. Close by stations include White City and Shepherds Bush underground station, and Wood Lane overground station.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As an Estate Operative Supervisor at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • To be a main point of contact and be responsible for regular inspections, cleaning and maintenance of the development, which may involve the outer grounds as well as the internal common areas, as prescribed by their manager, tending to issues upon request, reporting any defects as required.
  • To carry out inspections and operations as required.
  • To supervise other estate operatives on duty and ensure that their tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • To be responsible for quality customer service for residents and guests whilst carrying out work, and strive for continuous improvement.
  • To conduct the required health and safety inspections and activities to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all.
  • Maintaining a service schedule to ensure planned preventive maintenance.
  • Monitoring contractors and ongoing works.
  • Responsible for onsite Health and Safety inspections and reports.
  • Control and upkeep of equipment and supplies ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Ad hoc response to emergency incidents, clean up and reinstatement.
  • Good health and safety experience, ensuring compliance at all times. Responsible for issuing permits to works, reviewing RAMS, checking PPE and carrying out site inspections with a good understanding of AOV’s, fire alarm maintenance etc.
  • Exposure to dealing with reactive maintenance related issues, investing, reporting and actioning accordingly. Keeping all impacted parties updated on progress, delays as required.
