Are you an experienced SPI Administrator (SmartPlant Instrumentation / Intools)? 
Do you have experience of Monitoring and administering Smart Plant Instrumentation SPI (Intools) software application, installation, configuration and administration for providing instrumentation design services for projects? 

SPI Administrator Location: Birmingham or Daresbury, Warrington (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Contract - anticipated Outside IR35 (subject to an IR35 Determination confirming outside status) 
Rate: £45-55 Ltd per hour (dependent on experience)
Duration: 6 months + 
Hours - 40.00 hrs per week

Overview Our Engineering Design Consultancy is seeking an experienced SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation / Intools) Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. The role will involve monitoring, administering, and supporting the SPI application to deliver instrumentation design services across a range of projects.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering and design environments (EPC/EPCm) and supporting complex industrial facility projects.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor, administer, and maintain the SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI / Intools) application.

Oversee installation, configuration, and administration of the system.

Ensure SPI operates effectively to support project delivery teams.

Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training where required.

Collaborate with engineering and design disciplines to ensure seamless data integration.

Contribute to system upgrades, improvements, and implementation of best practices.

Experience & Requirements
Proven track record as an SPI Administrator in project delivery environments.

Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and administration of SPI.

Background in multi-disciplinary engineering/design environments (EPC/EPCm).

Prior involvement in large-scale, industrial-led facility projects.

Strong communication skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.
