Semi Static Lead Maintenance Engineer required for our client, they are a well known and reputable mechanical and electrical contractor based in the East Grindstead area. They have been in business for over 50 years, turnover over £50m a year, and currently employed over 350 members of staff. They currently require the Static Lead Multi-Skilled Engineer / Building Services Engineer to join the team in Hackney.

The position is ideal for an engineer looking to gain some off the tools experience, or already in a Lead Engineer / Supervisor position.

Semi Static Lead Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

- Static position with primary location being an NHS site close to Hackney
- General building services requirements include fire alarm checks, filter changes, ahu maintenance, fan coil maintenance, emergency lighting checks and repairs, basic plumbing, basic electrical checks, legionella testing etc.
- Building fabric planned preventive maintenance and repair work
- Undertake workmanship checks and training operatives
- Assist with health and safety audits
- Managing stock on site
- Overseeing and assisting sub-contractors on site
- Occasional travel to various other NHS sites in East London

Semi Static Lead Maintenance Engineer Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar position
- Knowledge and experience in repair and maintenance to building fabric and building services systems
- Industry recognised trade qualifications such as NVQ, WRAS, BPEC, and ACOP L8 Legionella Testing
- Previous experience working within healthcare sites would be seen as advantageous
- Full UK driving licence

Semi Static Lead Maintenance Engineer Remuneration

- Salary £36,500 - £39,000
- Mon - Fri (40 Hours)
- Call out 1 in 5/6 weeks
- 25 Days Holiday + BH (Further 5 days available for purchase)
- Pension (4%)
- Overtime available
