Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: Temporary or Fixed Term until July 2026 (initially)
Hours: 27.5 per week - Monday to Friday, 9:15am - 3:15pm
Salary: H3.5 (£24,790 FTE) + £1,013 Fringe Allowance (pro rata)

We are seeking a committed Year 1 TA / LSA / LSP to support pupils with a pastoral focus using the Thrive approach. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in a child's emotional and educational development during a vital stage of their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted learning and emotional support to pupils in Year 1
Deliver small group and 1:1 pastoral interventions using the Thrive approach
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider support team to meet individual needsCandidate Requirements:

Previous experience in Early Years or Key Stage 1 is highly desirable
Passionate about child development and emotional well-being
Familiarity with or willingness to train in the Thrive approach
