Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: Liverpool / Manchester / LeedsHours: 9am-17:30pmType: Permanent/Rolling ContractRate: 40h/w ?Start: Flexible - we'll work around youOur client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Mid-Senior Level of Experience) to join a building services consultancy delivering a wide range of projects - residential, commercial, education and industrial projects, with a special focus on high-rise.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design electrical systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work on projects from estimation stage through to Stage 5
  • Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience running your own projects.
  • Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and building regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional membership or working towards membership with a relevant engineering institution is advantageous.Benefits:
