RG Consultancy are working with and recruiting for a very well established business in Alderley Edge who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity, opened up due to an internal promotion within the business. You will support the Purchase Ledger and Subcontractor duties, working alongside a small team, reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor
- Salary £26-000 - £28,000

The Role
- Supporting the Purchase ledger function in the accounts department
- Handling and processing purchase invoices
- Coding and posting all invoices and credit notes
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly payment runs
- Dealing with subcontractor ledger and CIS
- Able to identify issues/discrepancies and ensure resolved efficiently
- Managing the accounts inbox and other administrative duties to assist the Finance Manager
The Person
- At least 2 years experience within a purchase ledger or similar role
- An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience/knowledge with CIS would be an advantage
- Good communication and IT skills
