Sur-Seal, Inc is a Full Line Industrial Supply company based in East Brunswick NJ. We have been around for almost 40 years. We have 15 employees and are looking for 1 or 2 more outside salereps to help support and grow our established accounts and develop new accounts in NY and NJ. We consistently provide exceptional customer service in all facets of business to our customers. We have long standing relationships with many Power, Food, Chemical, Pharma, Water Treatment and and other types of Manufacturing Plants throughout NY & NJ. We are well established and work with many of the Municipalities and various big mechanical contractors as well. We have an exceptional reputation within the Industry and many of our loyal customers rely on us for all types of industrial supplies. We rep many of the biggest names in Industry and are well sourced and experienced to help our customers with everything they could need to run a plant.
Actively manage and grow a sales territory that includes a pre-existing customer base.
Prospect and develop new business relationships.
Understand each customer's needs to provide efficient and effective solutions.
Work with inside sales to help deliver exceptional customer service
Required Experience / Traits:
- Outstanding work ethic and drive to succeed
- Excellent communication (in person and via emails/computers) & interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills are a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Prior Outside Industrial sales
- Good mechanical aptitude helpful
- Valid drivers license and good driving record required
We are not a catalog company and as a salerep of Sur-Seal, Inc you will have the ability to sell your customers whatever they need. We have an experienced inside sales force that works well with customers and assists outside reps in all facets. We have some plants that purchase all (or most) of their industrial supplies to run the plant from us. Unless it's proprietary, or something where a manufacturer will only work direct with end users, we will help figure it out and source it. If you have established industrial accounts who value your knowledge, insight and work ethic, but are limited to sell them only the items from your line of products, imagine if you could sell them whatever they need. To that end, we regularly work with tech support of various manufacturers and the end users to help spec in the right parts.
Most companies these days don't go the extra mile to support the end user, but we do it all day everyday, and our customers recognize and appreciate the extra effort.
Also, in early in 2017 we started representing a new line of Penetrating Oils, Anti-Seizes, cleaners and greases that is based on new science and technology. It's new to the USA but proven for over 25 years throughout Europe and rest of the world. It's getting game changing results in all types industry and we are having great success at all of our customers as they try it. We are the NY and NJ rep and it is a great addition to our line. We get nothing but positive reviews and are in the process of implementing it into PM schedules at various plants, with more plants coming on board. This a huge Market and every day we are getting a little more of the Market Share. The products are literally outworking all competitors in all applications.
