A highly rated nursing home in the Greenock area is looking for a Registered Nurse/RGN/RMN/RNLD to work as Deputy Manager for the home, this would be on a permanent, full-time basis. The home cares for elderly adults who suffer with a range of health conditions, the home specialises in dementia care, and strives to provide only the best care to all residents so that they can have a good quality of life.

As Deputy Home Manager you will play an important role in supporting the Home Manager in leading and managing the team at the home. You'll be involved in continuous assessments to plan and evaluate the needs of the residents, at the same time as coaching your team members and role modelling best practice. Your day will be varied, including recruitment, ensuring safe staffing levels, making sure your home meets legislative and regulatory requirements and undertaking ongoing care assessments. You'll work flexibly, 5 out of 7 days, to cover the needs of the Home and provide cover for the Home Manager in their absence, ensuring standards of care are maintained.

What we're looking for in a Deputy Home Manager:

* NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD

* Previous experience in a management role with experience of leading a team in a care home environment is essential

* Good clinical knowledge and understanding with proven clinical experience

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Good understanding of all regulatory requirements

* Have self-motivation and resilience
