Finance Manager to oversee all accounting functions for a dynamic and growing organisation in the healthcare services sector. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing processes for new services, maintaining robust financial controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, capital, cash flow, and treasury.
- Lead the production of monthly reporting, forecasts, and annual capital and revenue budgets.
- Provide expert financial advice and support on complex issues, ensuring key stakeholders understand the organisation’s financial position.
- Prepare statutory annual accounts and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to meet audit and governance standards.
- Support the costing and evaluation of new business cases and projects.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Promote value-for-money principles and financial awareness across the organisation.

Essential Skills & Experience - Fully qualified (or part-qualified and actively working towards full qualification) accountant..
- Strong background in financial management, accounts payable/receivable, and capital accounting.
- Experience preparing company accounts and managing audits.
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop staff.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems expertise.
- Highly numerate, analytical, and detail-focused.
