RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent well known legal firm who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Preston office on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director and Finance Manager, this Management Accountant role would be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts across multiple sites and being key support for the finance function.

Duties include:

• Production of timely and accurate management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L variance analysis
• Budgets and forecasting - performance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with the SRA solicitors accounting rules
• Supporting the Finance Director & Finance Manager with adhoc finance related duties as required

This Management Accountant role is ideal for someone with a legal background and has worked in a management accounts role previously.
