Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an innovative global organisation in the consumer and chemical products sector to support the growth of their teams with an experienced Ecotoxicologist or Product Safety Specialist.This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of non-animal safety assessment, supporting internal innovation and customer solutions across a broad product portfolio. You’ll be working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that values science, integrity, and impact.As an Ecotoxicology specialist, your key responsibilities will be;-Provide ecotoxicology and environmental hazard expertise to internal teams and external partners.-Conduct and support product and substance-specific hazard and risk assessments, with a strong focus on non-animal methods (NAMs).-Contribute to the development of next-generation safety and testing strategies, aligning with industry innovation and regulatory changes.-Represent the organisation in industry workshops, technical forums, and trade associations focused on advancing alternatives to animal testing.-Deliver insights that influence global safety and regulatory decision-making.-Act as a recognised internal contact point for environmental safety and ecotoxicology topics.What we need from you as an Ecotoxicology Specialist;-Degree qualified in Ecotoxicology, Toxicology, or a related Life Sciences discipline (BSc/MSc/PhD).-Minimum 3 years' experience in product safety, hazard assessment, or regulatory science within the consumer goods, chemicals, or life sciences industry.-Strong working knowledge of non-animal testing methodologies (in vitro, in silico, computational modelling, etc.).-Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex science into actionable advice for technical and non-technical stakeholders.-Passion for sustainability, safety innovation, and regulatory excellence.What this role could mean for you as an ecotoxicology specialist;Be part of a forward-thinking organisation leading the way in sustainable science and ethical product development.Work on impactful projects that shape safer, greener consumer products worldwide.Collaborate with experts across disciplines and regions in a values-led, inclusive environment.Competitive salary, strong benefits, and clear development pathways.For more information, please contact
