SEN Teaching Assistant St Helens

Job Description

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in St Helens with experience in an SEN setting or with children aged 4-11 with additional needs.

The candidate will have experience from the last 2 years of any of the following:

  • Supporting children with moderate learning difficulties
  • Supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Supporting children with Autism or Asperger's
  • Supporting children with physical disabilities

As an Academics Teaching Assistant you will need

  • Minimum 6 weeks experience working in an SEN setting or with children aged 4-11 with additional needs
  • Details of someone who can provide a written reference on request to account for your experience of working with children
  • A positive can do attitude
  • Currently living in or near St Helens and able to get to primary schools in St Helens
