Role & Responsibilities
* Liaising with engineering teams during design stages to understand technical requirements and creation of vendor tender list.
* Supporting tender evaluation and award for specialist engineering equipment including, but not limited to, vessels, pumps, control valves, switchgear etc.
* Managing full procurement phase including pre-order and post-ordering of specified equipment.
* Continuous co-ordination between engineering disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance.
* Monitoring / supporting vendors during full evaluation and award process.
* Vetting vendor documents and providing input to selection.
* The role will be supporting numerous projects during various stages including pre-FEED, FEED and EPC.
* Provide expert advice including daily, weekly or monthly schedule updates.
Key Skills & Knowledge
* Must be proficient with full procurement process, including both pre-award and post-award of orders.
* Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable managing continuous liaison between engineering teams and vendors.
* Previous experience supporting major energy projects in any of the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Nuclear or Refining sectors.
* Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
